The site for backpacker hostel is in Penang, one of the historical shophouses. The building itselfs is a two-storey shophouses with long interior spaces and courtyard. The air ventilation and courtyard is take into consideration to harmonize with design. Personally, I proposed the tropical concept for this hostel because I wanted to promote the tropical culture of Malaysia to those foreign backpacker that came to Penang. Besides, nature and cozy environment gives more confortability for backpacker after traveliing for long distance.
