Reception Counter Design for S P Setia
Project Overview
Project based on current interior projects. Design a reception counter for choosen real estate company, SP Setia. The furniture has a reflection of the chosen property interior that have been developed and implemented in design concept.
Design Intention
Connectivity is a form that associate with communication and a key in my design development. It is inspired from mission of SP Setia which emphasize on their communication internally and externally. The office showroom is design with the intention to create a space that incorporate the connectivity of workplace and showroom that emphasize on curvilinear and geometrical shapes with the repetition to show connectivity, continuity and rhythmic along the space. The design focus on connectivity from one space to another. The connectivity are bring together as people move through between the office and showroom. Blue colour materials are placed in contrast throughout the space to reflect the simple and young identity of SP Setia.
Design Report
About Reception Counter
The element used to design the reception counter is the curvilinear and geometircal form. The design of the showroom are more towards the curve lines inspired from the front facade and it is used minimally in the reception counter to be functional and aesththic. Based on the research, S P Setia is a young, simple and playful real estate company. Therefore, clean and gloss appearance of finishes will be used in the reception counter. As for the electric sockets, it will be installed at both under the desk and below the first level of reception counter. Furthermore, box up signage will be designed at the front of reception.
